I’d like to officially introduce myself. I am the owner of Win for Business.
My name is Karen Windress and I am a born and bred Gladstone, QLD girl!
With the “Win” in my surname - I am all about winning for business through essential foundation planning & goal kicking!
I am a wife and mum of two young adults; a son and a daughter who too were born and bred in Gladstone QLD. I had children fairly early at the ages 22 and 24. But I never gave up on my dream to become an accountant before I became a mother.
I am passionate about teaching and assisting business owners to obtain good and sound business planning, financial knowledge and literacy when it comes to owning and running a business. Teaching you, the business owner, to take the reins of your business in the world of accounting and understand the figures of business in order to make better business decisions!
MY qualifications
Those who know me know I am fascinated by numbers and share a passion for financial literacy.
While raising my family I put myself through uni, completing a Bachelors Degree in Accounting.
I have been an Accountant in Gladstone for 14 years to where I am now a Registered Tax Practitioner.
In accordance with the Tax Practitioners Board Code of Professional Conduct, please see below the following disclosures in relation to TAX AGENT.
Continuing Professional Development hours:
Required by the Tax Practitioners Board & Institute of Public Accountants – 120 hours over a 3-year period.
Total Verifiable CPD Hours: 121 hours - 2021 - 2024
